Aruba - Van der Sloot - Talks

It has been several months since Natalee Holloway, an 18 year old girl from Alabama disappeared in Aruba during her senior trip. Three young men have been at the heart of the investigation of her disappearance, but no charges have been filed. Joran van der Sloot, in a recent interview has stated that he was with Natalle the night she disappeared, but dropped her off at her hotel room sometime earlier that night she disappeared. He also stated that he had lied to police originally, but had nothing to do with he disappearance.

This is one of those gut check stories. Does your gut tell you that Joran and his two friends had something to do with Natalle's disappearance? My answer is yes. Can the authorities prove this beyond a reasonable doubt? My answer is no. So here we are. A beautiful young girl disappears during her senior trip during a night when most everyone agrees that alcohol was flowing freely among everyone. She is never seen again, no body is found and everyone in the world has an opinion on what really happened to her.

My heart goes out to her family and I hope they will be able to get some kind of closure without the return of her remains, which I think will never be found.

This is a very sad story.
