The third most hated man by liberals in America, Karl Rove, was interviewed by Rush Limbaugh on his radio show yesterday. I listened to all of the almost 30 minute interview as Karl Rove told Rush about his job at the White House and his long term friendship with President Bush. While it is important to not always believe what you hear or see, for the most part the Karl Rove interview on the Rush Limbaugh Show seemed to be a positive experience for Karl Rove as he prepared to leave the White House and spend more time with his family.
In recent years I have moved my political opinions from conservative to moderate as President Bush has redefined what a conservative is in the modern day Republican Party. That said, there is no way I could or would move to the far left and join a bunch of people that are so filled with hatred, especially toward President Bush, Vice-President Cheney and Karl Rove. In the 1960's I grew up in a democratic household, but the democratic party was very different back then than it is today.
In a nutshell both the Republican's and Democrats have migrated to far political extremes, but that might be changing if Rudy Giuliani is elected the next President of the United States. There is no doubt that Hillary Clinton is a very liberal candidate just as there is no doubt that Fred Thompson is a very conservative candidate. There seems to be no moderate democrats running for the nomination this year and that is a scary prospect for me, indeed.
Extreme views lead to extreme hatred of the other side and that is why Hillary Clinton is hated so much by conservatives and it is also the reason why so many liberal hate President Bush, Karl Rove and yes even Rush Limbaugh.
