Paul Potts' Makes 'Bonkers'/'Jelly' Household Names

When Paul Potts was winning 'Britain's Got Talent' a few months ago, one of the host of that show asked Paul Potts how he felt and he said 'like jelly' and he also said that his whole experience with the talent competition was completely 'bonkers' to him. I am a man that has lived his entire life in the State of Texas and I don't believe I had ever heard anyone describe their feelings in that way. Since I first watched Paul Potts blow away the judges on 'Britain's Got Talent' via YouTube, Potts' has been on a round the world tour promoting his new album (CD) 'One Chance'. Just last week, Paul Potts' preformed on the most popular daytime television show in the United States, Oprah, which allowed almost 10 million people to hear Paul's amazing voice for the first time.

Paul Potts' various performances have been downloaded almost 50 million times via YouTube so far and Paul's latest performance on the 'Oprah Show' has already been downloaded tens of thousands of times. With an album that has already sold over one millions copies and high profile interviews that allow more people to hear Paul Potts amazing talent, the sky is the limit for this young man that to date has still not lost his humility. After Potts' sang on the 'Oprah Show' last week, he told Oprah about the love he has for his wife and I have also noticed that Paul Potts' wife has accompanied him on his round the world tour promoting his new album. In the modern world, most new talent is discovered by record producers that spend years trying to get that stars talent noticed by any means necessary. However, with Paul Potts' the world witnessed first hand his talent, so no hype was necessary to turn his first album into a million unit sales success almost overnight.

While old Texans, like myself, will never talk like Paul Potts and use the words - 'bonkers' and 'jelly' in our everyday speak. When Paul Potts describes the most recent events in his life using the words bonkers and jelly it sound perfectly find to me. With all the hype in the entertainment business today, the term 'overnight success' is used all the time to describe the career of new recording artists. Unfortunately, that term does not fit most new singing stars - but it does fit Paul Potts' as he continues to travel the world and winning over fans, one person at a time. Have you ever heard the term, word of mouth advertising? If so, Paul Potts' is the perfect example of how 'word of mouth' advertising can propel an unknown talent into a worldwide superstar within a short period of time.
