Clinton Campaign Racist By Forwarding Obama Muslim Photos?

Recently, some Hillary Clinton campaign officials have been forwarding around old pictures of Barack Obama wearing ceremonial Muslim clothing while traveling overseas. Some of those photo showed up today on popular websites like 'The Drudge Report' and 'Politico'. While most politicians, including President Bush and former President Clinton also wore similar clothing while visiting overseas, the fact that some members of the Hillary Clinton campaign are circulating pictures of Barack Obama dressed in this way proves just how low the spirits must be in the Hillary Clinton camp.

I do not think most members of the Hillary Clinton campaign are racist, but the release of these photos only days ahead of the Texas and Ohio primaries could doom Hillary's chances of making a come back for the democratic nomination. In a way, Hillary Clinton is showing the GOP how difficult it will be to effective use negative campaign tactics against Barack Obama. I was telling someone just yesterday that every time Hillary Clinton goes down and dirty against Obama those attempts seem to backfire and hurt her instead of him. It is possible that the same thing will happen to John McCain and other members of the GOP this fall when they try to defeat Obama's march to the White House?

For far too long members of the democratic party have tried to show that all Republicans are racist by demanding they be fired if they stray from political correctness words and make a slip of the tung mistake. Now, it appears that even popular Democrats like Hillary Clinton could be hurt by these same tactics that they have praised before when used against Republicans or other opponents. Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign for President was in big trouble before these latest photos were leaked and right now I would give her less than a 10% chance of winning the democratic nomination.

The runaway freight train known as the Barack Obama movement is still racing down the tracks so fast that no one can catch him. Old political dirty tricks like the release of these photos are fortunately backfiring in this election season as they should be been rejected in previous presidential elections. The biggest truth I can see coming out of the 2008 presidential election season so far is that if Barack Obama can win the democratic nomination against a person named Clinton in the Democrat Party, then he certainly has the ability to win the general election in November.
