Judge In Casey Anthony's Murder Trial Must Be Strong Like The 'Rock Of Gibraltar'

While we are still months away from the time when Casey Anthony's murder trial will start, today I began to think about the courage and strength the judge in her (Casey's) murder trial will need to have in order to keep events from spinning out of control. Too many times, high profile murder trials - especially if they are on television, cause good judges to lose focus as they grandstand to the TV cameras during the trial.

Who could forget the terrible job that Judge Ito preformed when OJ Simpson went on trial for murder over ten years ago? From a well respected member of the LA bench to almost a total joke at that trials end, Judge Ito lost control of his courtroom and in the end justice was not served in that murder trial.

Now there will be a new judge on the hot seat when Casey Anthony goes on trial for the murder of her daughter Caylee. If that judge does not show a tremendous sense of control over his or her courtroom, then the high priced lawyers that are lined up to defend Casey Anthony will take control and at the end of the day we could all be looking at a bad sequel to the first OJ Simpson murder trial.
