Spears Rock Bottom, Not There Yet Say Experts

For people that have a heart, it is difficult to watch the ever downward spiral of pop star Britney Spears. Yesterday, she was let out of the hospital again at which point she proceeded to continue her wild and out-of-control behavior. Most people have already seen how this story ends when Anna Nicole Smith died almost one year ago. Britney Spears parents are doing everything they can think of to get their daughter help, but the US legal system is stacked against them. It must be hard for a parent to know down deep in their heart that their child is slowly committing suicide and be helpless to do anything about it.

Most experts believe that no person will ever get better until they hit rock bottom and these same experts think that Britney Spears still has a ways to go before she bottoms out. The sad truth is that some people do not hit rock bottom, get help and then lead a productive life. Instead, some people hit rock bottom and die. When I see Britney Spears being stalked by hundreds of photographers every time she leaves her home, it angers me that these photographers are making money off of the tragic events of another human being. I know the United States is a free country and the paparazzi is allowed to conduct such activity under the US constitution, but just because someone can legally do something it does not mean that they should.

While Los Angeles, California is one of the most liberal cities in the nation – what is needed right now is a little bit of compassionate conservative tough love in Britney Spears life. Not even a judge seems to have the power to keep Britney Spears in a mental health treatment facility long enough to let important medications start to take effect. I have a feeling that this whole Britney Spears mess is going to end when she loses her life, either through some kind of drug overdose or in a bad traffic accident. Spears parents want to take her back to Louisiana for prolonged treatment, which I believe to be a good idea. However, Britney Spears does not want to get treatment probably because in her mentally disturbed mind she does not believe she is sick.

What Britney Spears parents are going through right now has been seen and felt by thousands of other parents around the world, as well. However, since Britney Spears is a public figure – some people are witnessing for the first time how many hoops most parents must go through in order to try and get their child the treatment and help they need in order to survive.
