Orlando TV Stations Are Obsessed With Casey Anthony's Appearance/Body Language

Rather than focusing on the facts of this case, most Orlando TV stations were focusing purely on the appearance and body language of Casey Anthony at Friday's court hearing.

According to Orlando Sentinel reporter Hal Boedeker, most Orlando TV stations spent much of their time during last Friday's Casey Anthony court hearing, talking about the cloths she was wearing and how she interacted with her lawyer, Jose Baez.

While I enjoy reading Mr. Boedeker's online column on the Orlando Sentinel Internet site, I do think it makes sense for local television stations in Orlando to focus on such trivial matters simply because that is what most people want to see and talk about in this case..

How Is Casey Anthony Paying For Her Legal Defense Against Charges She Murdered Her Daughter Caylee?

A question I have often wondered the answer to was how in the world Casey Anthony could afford the team of defense attorney's and expert witnesses that are lined up to testify in her murder trial? Of course - her chief lawyer is being paid by Orange County Florida and I'm sure a certain amount of money is being contributed by the county, as well, for defense experts. However, the level of talent that is willing to show up and testify at the Casey Anthony Trial for - what most of them would consider 'minimum wage', is astounding. Will Casey Anthony Be Allowed To Watch The Superbowl Game?

I guess just because over 100 million people will soon be watching today's big Superbowl Game, I began to wonder if the Orange County Florida jail will allow Casey Anthony to watch the game from her protective custody cell today, too? My guess is that inmates in the Orange County Florida jail will be allowed to watch the Superbowl, but I doubt if Casey will be among them.

Casey Anthony remains in protective custody from other inmates. It's not so much that jail officials are concerned about what Casey might do to other prisoners, but instead they are worried that some of the other inmates might hurt or even kill Casey if given the chance. I do know that Casey has a small transistor radio which she bought recently from the jail commissary.

I'm sure the Superbowl game will be broadcast on radio in the Orlando, Florida area - so if Casey wants to listen to the game tonight she will be able to hear it. For a person that loves the attention of others, Superbowl Sunday is just another reminder to Casey Anthony that crime does not pay.

Monday Will Be An Interesting Day On Cable TV Between Greta Van Susteren & Nancy Grace

Many of the people who read this blog also watch Nancy Grace on HLN and Greta Van Susteren on Fox News Channel as well to keep up with events surrounding the Casey Anthony murder investigation. On Monday, February 02, 2009, I feel confident that both Greta and Nancy will fill their shows with information and context about Friday's Casey Anthony court hearing.

Over this weekend, thousands of people have reviewed the video of Casey Anthony in court on Friday January 30, 2009. For me, there were many questions answered during that hearing, but you have to listen closely to catch some of them.

The only negative thing I have to say about Nancy Grace and Greta Van Susteren is that I wish both of them had more coverage this weekend, especially after Friday's Casey Anthony hearing was so widely watched and followed by the American people. That said, both of their shows should be interesting to watch tomorrow (Monday).
