Many people that earn their living from the practice of law have told reporters for the Orlando Sentinel that the murder trial of Casey Anthony will look more like a Dogfight (between the prosecution and defense) rather than an easy slam-dunk case. Casey Anthony is incarcerated in the Orange County Florida jail awaiting trial from the murder of her two year old daughter, Caylee.
I have followed the case against Casey Anthony now for several months and from my point of view the states case against her seems very strong. However, when it comes to my belief that Casey Anthony murdered her daughter - that is a far cry from the Orange County Florida DA being able to convict her of a murder charge. On that legal issue, I must yield my personal opinions to professional lawyers.>more
As a person that more follows common sense than the rule of law, I find it next to impossible to believe that any jury would ignore even the most basic of evidence in the case against Casey Anthony. For me, as a juror, I would have a hard time believing anything Casey Anthony proclaimed in her own defense - once I learned that her daughter was missing for almost 30 days before she told anyone, especially the police, that she was gone.
