Go Ahead, Make My Day Clint Eastwood Turns 80

"Go Ahead, Make My Day Clint Eastwood Turns 80." One of my favorite lines from any movie was delivered by Clint Eastwood decades ago in a movie where he played "Dirty Harry". During that period of time, liberal courts in the United States had gone wild in an attempt to show compassion for crooks in our criminal justice system. No one character told the story of millions of law abiding citizens outrage at this conduct than Clint Eastwood playing the character of a San Francisco cop by the name of "Dirty Harry". On Monday, Clint Eastwood turned 80 years old and in "Dirty Harry" style he told his wife and friends that he did not want to have a birthday party. In fact, Clint Eastwood stopped celebrating birthday's when he reach the young age of 70, one decade ago.

For many people, myself included - Clint Eastwood's character of "Dirty Harry" predated the Ronald Reagan revolution of the late 1970's and 1980's. By that time, most Americans had their feel of liberal judges who believed that the best way to change criminal behavior was through compassion and education. In my view, the "Dirty Harry" character played by Eastwood helped pave the political road for Ronald Reagan many years later. On his 80's birthday, I want to wish Clint Eastwood well. While many of his Hollywood coworkers will never bestow all the accolades he is due. The movie characters he played over the years, caused most Americas to think fondly of Clint Eastwood - because he help honest Americans deal with terrible urban crime, which was caused by extreme liberalism run amok in U.S. courts.
