The problem for Casey Anthony's defense team was made harder when she went into her angry tirade of lies shortly after her mother and the police found out that her daughter had been missing for 31 days. From blaming Caylee's disappearance on the Nanny, to her non stop partying sessions with friends and strangers - Casey Anthony pretty much sealed her own fate with a jury of her peers long before Jose Baez even enter the picture as her defense attorney.
Let's be honest with each other here, OK? We have all met people like Casey Anthony in our everyday lives. Maybe they have not murdered someone, but from my point of view there are tons of people walking the face of this Earth - who are so self centered that the welfare of anyone, much less a little child, is the last thing on their mind. I pretty much decided that Casey Anthony was guilty when I first heard the released audio tapes of her talking to Cindy and George from jail back in late 2008.
"Blaming someone else will not help Casey Anthony", simply because she drove the stake of blame right through her own heart by the actions, inaction's and outright lies she told, early on, before anyone knew that Caylee was even missing. Right now, I think Casey Anthony is Jose Baez meal ticket for at least the next six months to a year and he will keep using her to keep himself afloat as long as possible, but when all the dust settles - Casey Anthony will be spending the rest of her life in prison.
