Something of a historic nature is happening in the United States this November, if you believe the dozens of polls that have been taken in the past few weeks. While President Obama and democratic leaders in Congress have been trying to put the best face possible on what will most certainly happen to them during national elections on Tuesday, they know that the US House of Representatives is totally lost this year and most likely they will lose their majority in the US Senate too.
What no one is talking about right now, is the margin of victory the GOP is likely to accomplish on Tuesday - because it seems totally impossible to political insiders. As there are only two days left before nationwide voting begins on November 2nd, the common knowledge among pollsters is that rather than a 50 or 60 seat pickup for the GOP happening on Tuesday - instead the Republican margin of victory in the US House of Representatives will be 100 seats or more when all the ballots are counted.
If that happens, it will be the first time in several generations that one political party will so badly defeat another in a midterm election. In less than two years, the American public has not only turned it's back on the ideas and policies of President Barack Obama - but they are also more motivated than at any time in my life to get to the polls on Tuesday and cast their no vote against his agenda for the country. It's going to be a huge night for the GOP on Tuesday as ballots are counted all across the country.
