Christopher Hitchens Died Today (12/15/2011) At Age 64

One of the most intelligent writers and TV commentators in America died today. His name was Christopher Hitchens. He was 64-years-old and will be missed by millions of people both in and out of the world of media and politics. Unlike most pundits, Hitchens did not favor either the left or the right in American political discourse - but instead called it the way he saw it on an issues by issue basis. He will be missed.

Colonel Potter/Harry Morgan Died Today - He Was 96-Years-Old

After a long life of making people happy using his acting abilities, Harry Morgan died today. He was 96-years-old. I will remember Morgan most for his portrayal of Colonel Potter in the final years of M*A*S*H. Morgan's resume is one of the longest of anyone who ever acted in motion pictures or on television. When I heard that Morgan had died on TV tonight, tears came to my eyes - even though I had never met the man in person.
