ABC News’ George Will slammed presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney for failing to fully release information on his tax returns and offshore accounts, saying Romney “must have calculated that there are higher costs in releasing them.” ABC News political analyst Matthew Dowd agreed, saying “there’s obviously something there” in Romney’s returns that he doesn’t want public. From CBS News: Economic Policies Won't Pass Before Election
On Election Day, Moody's economist Mark Zandi indicated that the economy is going to play a role. "I think the economy on Election Day will feel pretty much like it feels today," he said. "If you told me it's eight percent on Election Day, I'd say that sounds right. One perhaps interesting point, it's lower in some of the swing states. So Ohio it's closer to seven percent, Virginia closer to five percent, New Hampshire closer to five percent. Unemployment is eight percent in Florida. So in some of the key swing states, the economy is doing a bit better." Full Story: Economic policies won't pass before election

From NBC News: Wall Street Waits On Bernanke
Recent warnings from a number of companies, including chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices, helped drag the S&P 500 lower for six straight days before a Friday rebound. The S&P 500 and Dow erased losses for the week, barely finishing higher by 0.2 percent and less than 0.1 percent, respectively. The Nasdaq composite fell 1 percent for the week. With a slew of companies set to report results next week, the hope among investors is that the bad news has been factored in, but the broader picture remains lackluster. That may limit the market's gains even if companies clear a low bar. Full Story: Wall Street waits to see what Bernanke may do for economy
