From ABC News: Michael Phelps Wins Gold in Final Olympic Event

Phelps, who made his Olympic debut in Sydney in 2004, exited the pool in London one final time, sharing a group hug with his teammates. And soon, he'll be stepping onto the medal podium for the last time. The swimmer has said he will not race in the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro. From CNN News: Romney Blasts Obama On Jobs Report

Flanked by what he called middle-class Americans at the White House, Obama said the July figures showed 29 straight months of job growth, including 1.1 million new jobs this year, following the recession that was in place when he took office in January 2009. "We haven't had to come back from an economic crisis this deep or this painful since the 1930s," Obama said.
