Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl Freedom At What Cost?

It's always a good day when a POW is set free and returned home to their friends and family in the United States. Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was freed yesterday in a prisoner swap in Afghanistan and while I rejoice in the news of his freedom, I worry that President Obama has opened up the floodgates of even more terrorist kidnappings of U.S. soldiers in the future. From news reports yesterday, it's pretty clear that the men freed from U.S. custody are some pretty bad actors and it is also likely they will hurt Americans again, in the future, once their one year travel ban is lifted. Right now, we should all celebrate the return of Bowe Bergdahl from what certainly was a hellish captivity. Sadly, I won't be surprise if in the years to come we read reports of some of these released terrorists again hurting Americans both at home and abroad.
