If Casey Anthony Is Convicted, Should Sterilization Be A Part Of Any Future Parole Debate?

For years, courts and legal professional have discussed the possibility of forcing men that have a history of sexual misconduct with children to undergo surgical castration as a condition of obtaining parole. Most of the time, courts have ignored this possibility because most people considering it to be their most basic human right to procreate during their lifetime.

I do agree that it is a slippery slope when government makes choices as to whether or not a man or woman has the ability to have future children when paroled out of prison. In my mind, the first time I have consider a woman as a potential candidate for sterilization as part of her parole is Casey Anthony.

While mental health professional are able to help many people deal with problems in their life, there are always going to be a few people like Casey Anthony who will keep making the same mistake over and over again no matter how much therapy they receive. If Casey is convicted of killing Caylee, I believe one condition of any future parole she might receive should be to give up her right to have more children.
