Texas A&M Student Christy Crow Died From Mononucleosis – Galveston, TX

19-year-old Christy Crow, a student at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas passed away recently a short time after being diagnosed with mononucleosis. Crow died Wednesday at UTMB Hospital in Galveston. Upon learning that her daughter was sick, Christy's mother drove to College Station to pick up her daughter and took her home to Friendswood, Texas. At first, family members said, Christy seemed to be fine and recovering well from her illness. However, she took a turn for the worse and was admitted to the hospital. A memorial service for Christy is planned for 6:00 PM on Tuesday at Friendswood Community Church. Her fellow Aggies are in mourning today after the loss of one of their own.
