Horrific Multi-Car Accident Leaves Six People Dead Near St. Augustine, Florida



Sunday was a terrible day on Interstate 95 near St. Augustine, Florida when six people lost their lives in two separate traffic accidents. I-95 was closed for many hours in St. Johns and Flagler counties. Flames and thick black smoke were visible to drivers for miles. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two people died in one of the accidents – while four others died in the other. It is believed that heavy traffic which was backed up because of the first accident, was a contributing factor to the second wreck. According to rescue personnel, I-95 southbound near St. Augustine was closed for almost 16-hours.
