NASA Astronauts Perform Spacewalk Tuesday Morning


A pair of NASA astronauts will perform a spacewalk outside the International Space Station on Tuesday morning to replace a data relay box that failed over the weekend.

The box is one of two in the middle of the football field-length station that controls solar arrays, radiators, cooling loops and other functions, NASA said.

A backup box, formally called multiplexer-demultiplexer, or MDM, is working and NASA said the station's five-person crew was not in danger.

Lindsey Mae Rotuno Of Grafton OH Killed In Crash


A female Midview High School student was killed, and a male student was severely injured early Sunday in a Lorain County crash that happened while the two were returning from prom.

Lindsey Mae Rotuno, 17, of Grafton, died after she was taken to University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center, the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Elyria post said in a news release. The car's 18-year-old male driver was taken to the same hospital, where he remains after suffering "incapacitating" injuries.

The two were traveling westbound about 3 a.m. on Ohio Route 82 in in a 2004 gold Saturn Ion, the highway patrol said. The 18-year-old driver drove onto a grassy median at the intersection with Ohio Route 57, where he hit two utility poles.

10 Sick After Botulism Found In Nacho Cheese Sauce


An outbreak of botulism from nacho cheese sauce at a northern California gas station sickened 10 people and possibly killed a man.

The state Department of Health on Friday confirmed the hospitalizations are linked to a gas station in Walnut Grove.

A 37-year-old man from Antioch, Martin Galindo, died in a hospital in San Francisco Thursday night after contracting what his family said is a rare case of botulism. KGO-TV reported he contracted botulism from nacho cheese bought at the station. The Health Department has not yet confirmed botulism caused Galindo's death.

According to a GoFundMe page, Galindo fell into a coma.

The affected products were purchased between April 22 and May 5 at Valley Oaks Food and Fuel.

NYC Victim Alyssa Elsman Was Only 18-Years-Old


The father of a teenage tourist who was run down by a driver in Times Square on Thursday is speaking out about his heartbreak and the city where it happened.

Eighteen-year-old Alyssa Elsman loved to travel and laugh. She died while walking through New York's Times Square, struck by a crazed driver.

"This is something beyond anything I could ever imagine, you know?" said her father, Thomas Elsman. "My daughter came here for vacation and now I'm going to take her home and bury her."

Another daughter, 13-year-old Ava, is recovering after being hit by the same car.

Sig Hansen Not Guilty Plea To Spitting On Uber Driver


Celebrity crab-boat captain Sig Hansen has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges that he spit on an Uber driver last week in Seattle.

The Seattle Times reports that the 51-year-old "Deadliest Catch" star entered the pleas in Seattle Municipal Court on Saturday to charges of assault and property destruction. He's been accused of spitting on the driver and denting the car after learning he couldn't pay cash for his family's ride home.

Hansen had been celebrating Norway's Constitution Day in Seattle's historically Scandinavian neighborhood, Ballard, before the incident.

As he left the court hearing, Hansen said he feels terrible and embarrassed about what happened.

Tim Allen Talks About Show Being Cancelled On ABC


Tim Allen is breaking his silence on the cancellation of his ABC comedy, Last Man Standing.

The Friday night series was axed after six seasons, along with time period partner Dr. Ken after six seasons, outraging fans and even inspiring a petition to boycott ABC.

So clearly Allen seems to feel this the axing of his show wasn't entirely fair either.

Earlier Tuesday on a conference call with reporters, ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey defended her decision to cancel the show.
